The Temple and the Wilderness in Acts
Wednesdays, from 6:00 PM ET - 7:15 PM ET hosted at Sandy Springs United Methodist Church in Sandy Springs, Georgia from September 6 until 27, 2023.
Description
In this course, we will explore how the Holy Spirit in the Book of Acts both uses and transforms space in order to spread the church over the whole world.
Our discussions will focus on the narrative activities that make certain spaces holy and on how this story of space and place directly continues the story of the Old Testament.
We will then reconsider our own spaces and imagine new spaces in the life of the church.
